Forklift Certification Assessment - Operation & Safety (0210-FOSO)


Description
Preventing accidents in the workplace. OSHA requires that all operators are to complete OSHA powered industrial trucks training and become certified to run the forklift. Operator must be at least 18 years of age
to be eligible. Because Roytec uses powered industrial trucks in both warehouses, OSHA standard training is required: 2 hrs of studied OSHA forklift presentation, forklift exam administered, 40 hrs of hands-on forklift driving, instructional training and an evaluation of the operator's performance demonstrating proper handling of the forklift. Once trained, forklift operators will need re-evaluation every three years to ensure the continuance of proper handling of the forklift.
