First Piece Approval Inspection (0201-QUFPA)


Description
This course is for First Piece Setup Approval. Once the initial course and test has been completed, a two week followup assessment will need to be completed.

Prerequisites for this course: The Anatomy of a Terminal, The Anatomy of a Wire, Intro to the Micrometer, Intro to the Multimeter, 1st Piece Set Up, Intro to Heat Shrinking, Intro to IPC Wire Crimping, IPC Electronic Connector Assembly, IPC Wire Harness Assembly Methods, IPC Wire Preparation, Detailed Assembly Instruction, Intro to Heat Shrinking, Intro to Label Placement, Torque Wrench Training, Intro to Fixtures, Measurements & Tolerances, Production Board Procedures, Intro to the Work Order

If the Operator has completed these courses in RU, they do not have to be completed again as long as they passed the RU Final Assessment. If the Operator has equivalent floor experience, the Operator should take the RU Final Assessment to verify basic information and/or weaknesses.

The prerequisite courses can be added and removed from the Rules and Path section.
